Maybe the Metallica guys saw an advance copy of the OOMPH! “Rohstoff” DVD, scheduled for release on July 20th???

OOMPH! at Echo 2007: Banned last year, this year a nomination!
You’re sure to remember the controversial banning of OOMPH! last year from the Echo awards ceremony because of their single, “Gott ist ein Popstar”. Dero, Crap and Flux took it in stride and awarded their tickets to 3 fans. The neckties in charge of the Echos seem to have conveniently forgotten all about their overreactions last year, because this year OOMPH! have not only been invited to the ceremony, they’re also nominated in the category “National Rock/Alternative Group of the Year” – and, go figure this, for their 2006 CD “GlaubeLiebeTod”…yes, the album containing “Gott ist ein Popstar”, as well as the original version of “Träumst Du?” which provided the basis for the version that recently won Stefan Raab’s Bundesvision Song Contest hands down. This new version of “Träumst Du?”, featuring the fabulous duet with Dero and special guest singer Marta Jandová of Die Happy, is also included on the reissue of the current OOMPH! ‘Best Of’ album “Delikatessen”. And this album just re-entered the German album charts at Number 72!
He who laughs last laughs loudest, so OOMPH! are really pleased to see “GlaubeLiebeTod” nominated for the Echo this year. No guts, no glory – and 2007 is seeing things go OOMPH!’s way. Heart and courage DO pay off in the end, and 2006’s “GlaubeLiebeTod” is finally getting the recognition it deserves!

Bundesvision Songcontest in Berlin on 9th February
As you probably know, Oomph! will perform at this years Bundesvision Songcontest in Berlin on 9th February. For those of you, who don't know what this is all about, here a short
explanation:
The "BuViSoCo" is comparable to the Grand Prix d'Eurovision but this show is only for German artists. There will be one artist from each German Federal State performing one song and people from everywhere can vote for their favourite act. The Oomph!-Day team will celebrate another Oomph!-Day the same day in Karlsruhe (southern Germany) . I will attach the official flyer to this e-mail and this is the official announcement in English and German language:
"When Oomph! enter the stage on 9th February 2007 at the German "Bundesvision Songcontest" they are already one step closer to the pole position than their competitors. They will rock the crowd with their song "Träumst Du" (feat Marta / Die Happy) plus there will be voters from two German Federal States on their side. New Single “Träumst Du” coming!
The end of last year saw OOMPH! release their one true, personally compiled ‘Best Of…’ “Delikatessen”, and now the album’s second single, “Träumst Du” is on the way. This is one of the most popular songs from the last studio album, “GlaubeLiebeTod” and now it’s been completely reworked and re-recorded as a duet with Die Happy singer Marta Jandová! Stefan Raab is, German TV talk-show host, is so taken with “Träumst Du” that he’s invited the band and their curvy special guest to participate in his next round of the “TV Total Bundesvision Songcontest”. OOMPH! feat. Marta will be appearing soon! This upfront love song with the accustomed OOMPH! foundation will be released in two different configurations. “Träumst Du“is coming as a standard 2-track single featuring the main title along with the throbbing ‘Bounce-Remix’.
